A sporting goods store that still cares what the gear feels like
Linden Ave Sporting Goods is an equipment retailer based in Burlingame, California, operated by Linden Ave Management, LLC.
We started because buying a decent ball had gotten strangely hard. Big-box shelves carry whatever the season's promotion is, and the online marketplaces bury a good bat under forty listings of the same bat. Neither one can tell you whether a glove arrives stiff as a board.
So we stock a short list instead of an endless one — Wilson, Rawlings, Louisville Slugger, Babolat, Adidas, Puma, Franklin, JOOLA and a few others. Every item on this site is something we would hand to a team without a caveat. If two products do the same job, we carry the better one and drop the other.
How we pick what we carry
Three tests, in order. Does it survive a full season of the use it was built for? Does it feel right in the hands of the person who will actually use it — including a nine-year-old, not just an adult? And is it priced so a coach buying a dozen does not have to apologize to the parents?
Anything that fails one of those does not make the catalog. That is why you will find one indoor game basketball here and not eleven.

We hold real inventory on every item listed. If a page says in stock, it ships the next business day — not in three weeks from a supplier you have never heard of.
Specs, not marketing
Every product page carries the manufacturer's own specifications — the brand, the sizes and colorways in stock, and the item number — so you can check a ball is league-legal for your level before you buy it.
Built for teams
Ten units or more, in any mix across the catalog, gets team pricing and a single consolidated shipment. Most of our volume is coaches and league equipment managers.

Returns are free within sixty days on anything unused, and we still take back gear that failed early in normal use — send a photo and we will replace it. Team orders ship together on a single tracking number, and we will hold a shipment until the whole order is ready if that is easier for you.
