This policy explains how Linden Ave Management, LLC (operating as Linden Ave Sporting Goods) handles personal information collected through linden-ave.com. We keep this short because we collect very little.
Information we collect
- Order information — your name, email address, shipping address, phone number if you give one, and the items you buy. We need this to fulfil and support your order.
- Payment information — collected directly by our payment processor at checkout. We receive confirmation that payment succeeded and the last four digits of the card; we never receive or store your full card number.
- Messages you send us — if you email contact@linden-ave.com, we keep the correspondence so we can answer you and handle any return or claim.
- Your bag — items you add to your bag are stored in your own browser (local storage) so they are still there when you come back. That data stays on your device until you clear it.
We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not sell personal information.
How we use it
- To process, ship and support your orders, including sending order and shipping confirmations.
- To handle returns, refunds and warranty claims.
- To prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.
- To answer questions you send us.
We only send marketing email if you ask for it, and you can opt out at any time by replying or using the unsubscribe link.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who need it to deliver your order: our payment processor (to take payment), shipping carriers (to deliver the package), and our email provider (to send confirmations). We may also disclose information where the law requires it or to protect our rights and customers.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as needed for returns, warranty support and tax and accounting requirements, generally seven years. Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful to support you.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Payment details are handled by a PCI-compliant processor and never touch our systems. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act; we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising, and we will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. To make a request, email contact@linden-ave.com from the address on your order.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Orders must be placed by an adult.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page.
